Jun Ogasawara
An artist and illustrator who lives her life with the blues.
Through spontaneous lines inspired by manga and hand-drawn lettering,
she transforms emotions and memories into images.
Her signature work Blues Journal depicts her enduring love and passion for a bluesman.
In later series such as a Record of Reincarnation, Private Feminism series,
and Resistance Portraits Trilogy series, she explored social themes
through upcycled works on Japanese paper.
She also works on client projects such as logo and package design.
Based in Tokyo, she continues to create and exhibit internationally.

即興で漫画的な線と手描き文字を織り交ぜながら、感情や記憶をイメージへと変換する。
代表作『ブルース・ジャーナル』では、ブルースマンへの愛と情熱を描き続けた。
続く『転生録』『私的フェミニズム』シリーズ、『抵抗ポートレート三部作』では
和紙を用いたアップサイクルを通して、社会的テーマにも挑戦。
現在は『ブルース・ジャーナル』の続編を制作中。
東京を拠点に、国内外で活動している。
